M & J Engagement Session by Kaightie Munsch

“When you fall in love, it is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake, and then it subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots are to become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is.              -Louis de Bernieres

Unplug and Enjoy by Kaightie Munsch

"Unplugged Wedding Ceremonies" are new trend that is quickly gaining tread among young couples. There is nothing sweeter than saying your "I Do's" and looking out at your guests and having them staring at their screens.  Or better yet paying for a highly skilled photographer and them missing an important shot because at that moment Uncle Bob had to jump in the middle of the aisle to capture it himself using his smart phone or someone's flash flooding the picture. We all know that those pictures will be better than the one taken by the professional with years of experience and thousands of dollars' worth of equipment, said no one ever.

In the links below you will find some stories on why you should opt for this new trend and tips to politely let your guests know that you would like them to unplug from everything else going on and just enjoy the moment that they were graciously invited too.  For the DIY'er a link to Pinterest for some great ideas for creatively incorporating the "Unplugged" theme into your special day.  Let me know what you think of the new trend I'm curious as to what real couples think!

J&J Engagement Session by Kaightie Munsch

So what do you do when you are due in 4 days with baby #2? A Mini Engagement Session of course! It is March and above freezing in Fargo. Jess is a great friend of mine so it was a great excuse to get out for a bit and maybe set things in motion to get this little man to make his entrance. For now he has decided to stay put. This is my last shoot till after he is here. Feel free to contact me with any questions while I am on leave.  I'll be back to shooting again in May.  As for Jess and Jessie have a great time tying the knot in Vegas next month! I <3 you!
